I recently signed up to the much acclaimed, Netflix, in the UK. I then deleted the account the next day due to one single reason a critical ‘lack’ of up to date video content.
The site after launching two days ago, seems to be growing well.
However, as the online rights of a lot of content online has already been purchased through SKY and other service providers. I don’t personally see Netflix making the same ground it has made in the US purely down to the ‘lack’ of current & popular content which makes Netflix in the UK, a very limited service in terms of what it can provide in meeting its customer needs.
I love the usability and the layout of the site, however they need to find someway of adapting their present content to make themselves more competitive, within the online video streaming marketplace.
